The Maryland Historical Trust (MHT), the State’s historic preservation office, located within the Maryland Department of Planning (MDP), is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fill the position of Assistant Grants Manager in its Office of Administration.
This position primarily performs duties associated with the administration of State-funded Historical Preservation, Maryland Heritage Area Authority and African American Heritage Preservation Grant Programs. This position also assists the Grants Manager with the State Loan Program, the Federally-funded Certified Local Government Pass-Through Grants, and with preparation of the annual National Park Service Historic Preservation Fund Application and End of Year Report, as needed. This position directly supports the Agency’s mission by managing financial assistance programs that result in the protection and enhancement of Maryland’s historical and cultural resources.
