Orange County is seeking qualifications and images from artists interested in providing public art for a new Community Center in Holden Heights. After looking at images of current and past work, the selection panel will ask three or four artists to make a site-specific proposal for art that they would provide. An honorarium of $500 is given to each finalist for making a proposal. One artist will be commissioned based on their proposal. The final artist selected will be paid nearly $50,000 to create and install the work they proposed. Deadline, March 9. Email Michael.Osowski@ocfl.net for full details.
