Arts and cultural organizations in Baltimore are encouraged to apply for the 11th annual  Free Fall Baltimore, a citywide celebration that offers hundreds of free arts & culture events in Baltimore.  Held in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month in October, area attractions and organizations showcase the importance of the arts with free concerts, dance and theater performances, lectures, workshops, visual art exhibitions, tours and special events.  Free Fall Baltimore is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) and presented by BGE with additional support from The Abell Foundation, Atapco Properties, Henry and Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. The program was developed to increase access, interest and attendance for the city’s many cultural organizations, especially for families and young adults, who are the creative community’s future patrons.

Cultural organizations with operating budgets under $300,000 are eligible to apply for grants ranging from $250 to $1,500 to support their Free Fall project. Large cultural organizations (with operating budgets above $300,000) are eligible to participate in Free Fall and take advantage of the marketing program. Applications are available on http://www.freefallbaltimore.org/about/applications or by clicking the links below.
