Dooby’s is a cafe-restaurant in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore, featuring coffee, pastries and sandwiches during the day and craft beer, cocktails and full service dinner in the evening. We’re looking for local artists to feature work in our 26-seat dining room for six week time periods. We will host an opening reception. We are open to all media.
Our space gets approximately 350 unique views per day from Peabody/mica/UB students, staff from Walter’s, nearby galleries, and Agora publishing, as well as community leaders from the Baltimore City non-profits and development organizations. We are located at 802 N. Charles Street, one block from the historic Washington Monument.

I am a Fine Art Photographer interested in this call for artists. May I send some low resolution images for you to consider? Of course I’ll need your email. My art is either framed, or in canvas or metal. I’ll need to visit to see how large the space is. And how the work is hung.
If you are interested, I would not be available until November/December because of previous engagements.
