Awards Judge: David Yager, University of California, Santa Cruz Dean of the Arts and Founder of the UCSC Museum of Arts and Sciences
Entry Requirements:
* Original artwork that has not been in prior TAC exhibits
* All 2D art must be wired on the back
* Works on paper must be framed
* Art too fragile to hang will not be accepted
* Pedestals for 3D art should be provided by the artist
* 5’x5′ max. (5’x5’x3′ max. for sculpture, must fit through the doorway) 80 lb. max.
Time Line:
Deadline March 21, 2014 – Submit Statement & up to 4 works of art to be curated online statement: How does your Art connect to the Sciences? (Environmental, Behavioral, Biology, Medicine, Physics (light, engineering, architecture, etc.)
Email list of titles & media & size and up to 4 jpgs less than 2 MB each, to: 23artist@gmail.com
Notification: March 24, 2014
Delivery of Accepted Artwork: Sat., March 29, 2014 from noon-3pm or by appt.
TAC EBC Arts Center, 40 W. Chesapeake Ave., Towson, MD 21204 Bring entry form & fee,* vita and/or statement (printed on paper)
*$15. Current TAC members or $35. 1 yr. membership / renewal
*Check made payable to Towson ARTS Collective
Reception: Sat., April 12, 2014 from 6-8pm, Awards presentation, 7pm
Exhibit Ends: Friday, May 9, 2014
Pick up Artwork: Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 12pm-3pm
