The Mayor’s Office of Children & Family Success and MBK-Baltimore are excited to announce You Matter: A Conversation Series Between Boys and Men of Color, virtual inter-generational conversations with boys and men of color focused on advancing the fight against discrimination and injustice. The dynamic lineup of special guests includes youth leaders and other Baltimore influencers who will create a space for boys and men of color to freely express what’s on their hearts and minds, and to develop strategies and actions for change grounded in the MBK-Baltimore framework.

Created by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, the competition awards a $25,000 fellowship to assist in furthering the career of a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

Each remaining finalist is presented with the M&T Bank Finalist Award of $2,500. Semifinalists are awarded a $500 honorarium, also partially financed by a gift from M&T Bank this year.

The 2020 Jurors are Gary Carrion-Murayari, Nona Faustine, and Diya Vij.
