Baltimore sculptor Sebastian Martorana will be featured in the Smithsonian Channel’s 40 Under 40 documentary. The documentary goes behind the scenes of the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s “40 Under 40: Craft Futures” exhibition.
40 Under 40 will be broadcast on the Smithsonian Channel on January 15 at 9pm, January 16 at 12am, and January 16 at 7pm.
The Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower will hold an open house on Saturday, January 5 from 1-5pm. Guests are invited to visit resident artists’ studios, connect with artists, and tour the historic clock room.

Not all artwork comes in a frame and sometimes it is larger than life. “Unframed: Baltimore Mural Program” highlights 18 vivid murals from the Baltimore Mural Program. “Unframed” will be on display at Top of the World Observation Level from Friday, December 14 to Saturday, March 30.
Guests can meet the artists and see the exhibition for free on Friday, December 14 from 5:30-7pm.
School 33 Art Center has been awarded an Artistic Innovation and Collaboration Grant from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. The $100,000 grant will help to fund four projects designed to transform the center and expand community outreach over the next two years. School 33 and eight other arts organizations were chosen from a total of 85 applicants.
