COURTS ADMINISTRATION BUILDING 1% FOR ART– INTERIOR The City of Oklahoma City has announced a call to artists for an interior work of public art for the new Courts Administration Building in downtown Oklahoma City. The interior artwork sought through this announcement is an opportunity for the selected artist to create a permanent installation piece that is highly visible and prominent inside the building over the interior grand entry staircase. The work can suspend from the ceiling and shall provide a beautiful, welcoming experience for those visiting the Courts Administration Building. The work can be made of glass, acrylic, certain metals, wood and other materials that will not require structural modification of the building. The work may be a suspended three-dimensional sculpture, mobile or kinetic artwork. The work will be viewed from both the interior and the exterior of the building, via large glass panels with southern light exposure.

BUDGET: $193,000

DEADLINE: September 29, 2015 at 4PM
