The 2013 Vans Custom Culture competition is underway with open registration. The first 1,500 US-based public or private high schools that register receive 4 pairs of blank canvas shoes.  Students then design and create art on the shoes in one of four categories, submit photos online and public votes choose five finalists.  Winners get to show off their work and the winning school’s art program gets $50,000.  For more information, visit www.vans.com/customculture.
