The Modell Lyric is proud to announce its fourth annual Dream BIG Contest, in honor of the historic presidency and legacy of Barack Obama.

In honor of President Barack Obama, the Modell Lyric is asking students to share the important dreams they have for their lives, communities, and families. Students in grades 5th-12th living in Baltimore City and Baltimore County are eligible to enter the contest with either a 300-word essay, a one-page poem, or a 60-second edited video. Between 5-10 selected finalists will have the opportunity to share their work and receive a $100 honorarium.

There will be two essay/poetry/video contest workshops that will be held virtually to help students construct their essays, poems, or videos. Interested students may contact education manager Ron Kipling Williams at rwilliams@modell-lyric.com.
