Charlotte Street Foundation, a nationally leading, artist-supporting, non-profit organization located in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking applications from visual artists, performing artists, and writers interested in being considered for its Studio Residency Program. Applications are due MONDAY, May 11, 2015 to be considered for a year-long studio residency term beginning September 2015.
Entering its twelfth year, the Studio Residency Program provides free studio spaces, rehearsal spaces, artistic and professional development support, and public exposure for exceptional young, emerging and/or already accomplished artists, fostering creative production, artistic experimentation, collaboration, career development, and community building. Studios are located on upper level floors of office buildings in downtown Kansas City and are workspaces only; the program does not provide residential accommodations. The studios are not furnished and do not include access to specialized equipment.
