Total Art Budget: $27,000

Submission Deadline: January 6, 2015

The goal of the project is to develop a viable, permanent public art project for the Stone Canyon Golf Clubhouse of Oro Valley including its final installation at either or both of two proposed locations on campus. The public art project desires to include three-dimensional art to be located either in the clubhouse’s breezeway or part of the outside landscape near the front of Clubhouse site.  The project seeks qualified artist applicants specializing in mediums including Steel, Bronze, Natural Materials, Metal, Wood, Ceramic, Stone, Concrete and Cast Stone, and glass with the possibility of lighting elements and features.  Acceptable and preferred genres include Modern, Human Forms, Animal Forms, Nature Inspired Forms, and Abstract.  The preferred colors may range from natural to vibrant.  The intent of the project is for the artwork to complement the surroundings in the natural setting outside as part of the landscape or within the breezeway and can serve as a standalone piece, multiple pieces or functional art.

$175,000 (includes total budget of 4 sculptural locations)

The goal of the project is to develop a viable, permanent public art project for All Seasons of Oro Valley including its final installation at four different locations on campus. The public art project desires to include sculptures to be located on a Senior Citizen Multi-Family site. The project seeks qualified artist applicants specializing in the medium of bronze and metal sculptures. Weather resistant wood sculptures will also be accepted.

These “to scale” sculptures of local wildlife, flora and fauna are to be placed into a natural setting. The intent of the project is for the artwork to complement the surroundings in a natural setting, with to-scale artwork.
