The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is now accepting applications for the 39th annual Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar!  Farmers, concessionaires and bazaar vendors can find applications and guidelines online at www.promotionandarts.org.  Participants must apply by Thursday, December 31, 2015.  Current vendors at the 2015 Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar must reapply for 2016. The market’s 2016 season runs Sundays from April 17 through December 18.  Located on Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay streets, underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX), the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar is presented by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and managed by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.

Maryland’s largest producers-only market offers a vast quantity of seasonal produce, meats, seafood, dairy, baked goods, plants and flowers. Additionally, a variety of food vendors offer made-to-order items such as pit beef, omelets and breakfast burritos, crepes, wood fired pizzas, pies and quiches, soups, noodles, dumplings and vegan items. The bazaar offers shoppers a variety of unique handmade crafts and collectibles including jewelry, handbags, hair accessories, clothing, rugs, pottery and wooden items, stained glass and photographs. For 2016, the bazaar seeks to increase the participation of local, producer-only artisans and craftspeople.
