This Tuesday (Nov 18) marked the re-opening of the Baltimore Museum of Art’s American Wing and the original Merrick entrance. BMA director Doreen Bolger and lead architect Steve Ziger were on hand to welcome everyone, and American Art head curator David Curry led a tour through the new galleries, which features 800 objects and paintings, many of which had never been displayed. This photo essay captures some of the great pieces, odd juxtapositions and numerous fun details I found- you should definitely stop by soon for a FREE visit.
