Backpack Jax and KLP, two hip-hop groups from Nantes in Western France, will present their new show featuring an explosive mix of breakdance and soulful music within the framework of the Alliance’s Urban Corps transatlantic hip-hop-festival that takes place in Washington, D.C. from 12 to 18 May 2013.

In this new artistic collaboration Backpack Jax brings the music whilst KLP delivers the moves. For the first time, the French-Iraqi and Cuban-American singing duo Backpack Jax partners with the French dance crew KLP for a high-energy performance full of explosive movements and sound.

Backpack Jax and KLP will be supported by TSU (Team Squad Up), a Baltimore-based dance company specialized in dancing to Baltimore house and club music, who will be the opening act for their new French friends.
